Source and purchase materials, products, and services for all hotel departments (e.g., F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering). Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals. Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with departments to avoid shortages or overstocking. Maintain and update supplier database and price lists. Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and budget requirements. Coordinate with receiving team to ensure accurate delivery and quality of goods. Handle discrepancies such as damaged or incorrect items with suppliers. Track and follow up on pending orders and deliveries. Prepare purchasing reports and documentation for management review. Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for savings.

  Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to our Restaurant’s standards to ensure superior service. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Assist in stocking linens, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of simple food items and beverages.  Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Follow all administrative policies and procedures at all times. Be a positive, enthusiastic, and active member of the Concierge team, providing excellent service to all guests in every situation. Have good knowledge of all hotel services, including recreational activities, food and beverage, guest services, special events, and promotions. Be familiar with all hotel facilities, daily functions, and events, and assist guests with any questions. Stay updated on group arrivals and any special arrangements. Handle guest questions and problems quickly and efficiently. Work closely with the Shift Leader regarding room readiness, early arrivals, room changes, stayovers, and any discrepancies. Pay attention to hotel security and report any suspicious activities to your immediate manager. Understand and follow the hotel’s emergency and evacuation procedures.

Audits charges to City Ledger and credit card companies before forwarding them to the Accounts Receivable sections. Audits daily Rooms and Food and Beverage revenue summaries and their supporting transaction reports of the Night Audit Process. Audits revenue from telephone, telex, and facsimile unless these are automatically linked to the computer for billing. Ensures that all the day’s Banquet revenue has been recorded. Audits revenue from other Operated Departments such as Laundry and Business Centre etc for completeness. Checks the daily General Cashier’s report against recorded cash movement. Monitors cashier shortages/overages and investigate any substantial amount and bring to the attention of the Director of Finance’s office.
