Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Officer

A. Position Overview
The SHE Officer is responsible for executing day-to-day safety, health, and environmental
controls to support safe operations and events at the Centre. The role conducts inspections, monitors compliance, supports incident response, and maintains SHE documentation in accordance with legal, regulatory, ISO, and Business Management System (BMS) requirements. The position provides on-site SHE support under the direction of the SHE Executive to safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and the environment.

B. Responsibilities
1. On-Site SHE Operations & Monitoring
*Conducts routine safety, health, and environmental inspections across operational areas and event sites.
*Monitors compliance with SHE procedures, legal requirements, and approved control measures.
* Supports implementation of SHE controls during events, including crowd, equipment, and temporary installation activities.
2. Incident Response & Investigation Support

* Provides initial response to incidents, hazards, injuries, or environmental spills in
accordance with procedures.
* Supports incident evaluation, reporting, documentation, and investigation activities.
* Assists with first aid response and coordination with emergency services when required.
3. Documentation, Compliance & BMS Support
* Maintains accurate SHE documentation including inspection records, reports, logs, and registers.
* Supports NCR identification, corrective action tracking, and closure verification. 
* Assists in monitoring contractor compliance with SHE requirements and standards.
4. Operational & Administrative Support
* Performs SHE administrative tasks including permit checks, licensing documentation, and record-keeping.
* Supports SHE meetings, audits, and compliance reviews as directed. 
* Liaises with internal teams and external parties on SHE operational matters when
assigned.
