Job Description

1. Handle Reservations

  • Receive booking requests by phone, email, website, travel agents, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Enter reservations accurately into the PMS/IDB system.
  • Confirm bookings with guests.
  • Process amendments, cancellations, and special requests.

2. Check Room Availability

  • Monitor room inventory and availability.
  • Ensure room types and rates are correctly assigned.
  • Prevent overbooking and identify booking discrepancies.

3. Guest Communication

  • Answer inquiries about room rates, facilities, promotions, and hotel policies.
  • Provide accurate information to guests and travel agents.
  • Follow up on pending reservations and confirmations.

4. Coordinate with Other Departments

  • Inform Front Office of VIPs, special requests, and group arrivals.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room readiness.
  • Work with Sales on group bookings and contracts.

5. Revenue Support

  • Promote room upgrades and packages.
  • Ensure correct rates are applied.
  • Monitor booking trends and occupancy levels.
