Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibility

•  Supervise daily laundry operations and staff.
•  Ensure all laundry processes meet quality and hygiene standards.
•  Coordinate with other departments to meet laundry needs.
•  Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies.
•  Address and resolve any issues in laundry operations.
•  Maintain and ensure proper functioning of laundry equipment.
•  Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
•  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
•  Develop and update laundry procedures and protocols.
•  Monitor and report on laundry performance metrics.
•  Conduct regular inspections of laundry facilities.
•  Maintain accurate records of laundry operations.
•  Collaborate with management to improve services.
•  Ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to departments.
•  Promote a positive and productive work environment.

Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in laundry management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Laundry Supervisor or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, equipment, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Proficient in using laundry management software and computer skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
