The Director / Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing brand positioning, and driving revenue through integrated marketing, digital, and public relations efforts. The role ensures consistent brand messaging while supporting the hotel’s overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies aligned with business goals. (Director: Lead strategy | Assistant Director: Support execution)
- Plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and partnerships to drive revenue.
2. Digital Marketing & Branding
- Oversee/manage digital platforms including website, social media, and online campaigns.
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all channels.
- Manage content creation, visuals, and messaging.
3. Public Relations & Communications
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and partners.
- Manage/support press releases, media coverage, and brand reputation.
- Assist in handling crisis communications when required.
4. Campaign Performance & Analysis
- Monitor campaign performance, ROI, and digital analytics.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Sales, Revenue, and F&B teams to support business needs.
- Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and vendors.
6. Budget & Resource Management
- Develop/manage marketing budgets and ensure cost efficiency. (Director: Own budget | Assistant Director: Support tracking)
7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop the Marketing & Communications team. (Director)
- Support team coordination and execution. (Assistant Director)
8. Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Recommend strategies to maintain competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Director: 8–10 years of experience with leadership exposure.
- Assistant Director: 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and branding.
