As the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager, you will play a vital role in elevating the hotel’s prestige and brand identity through strategic storytelling. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, and possess a sophisticated understanding of brand positioning, public relations, and premium marketing practices.
The Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager will also be responsible for ensuring a seamless and high-end guest experience through physical and visual touchpoints. They will do this by overseeing the production of premium hotel collateral, ensuring all guest-facing materials reflect the hotel's upscale amenities, and maintaining brand consistency across every physical department of the property.
The Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager will also be responsible for providing direct support to the Director of Marketing and Communications on all PR-related assignments. This includes high-level copywriting for press releases, cultivating relationships with key media partners, and the end-to-end organization of press events and lifestyle activations.

Your day-to-day:
People
Assist the Marketing & Communications Department in developing and executing all-rounded marketing campaigns
Maintains regular contact with IHG cluster hotels for participation in IHG marketing initiatives
Collaborate with other members of the hotel to promote the hotel’s brand and services
Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for other members of the team
Guest Experience
Manage the hotel’s social media presence, including creating and posting lifestyle content, engaging with followers, and monitoring guest feedback.
Oversee the design and production of premium hotel collateral to enhance the on-property guest journey.
Coordinate, maintain, and utilize an updated database of media and VIP contacts for targeted communication campaigns.
Actively engage with local business partners and community stakeholders to drive brand awareness.
Financial
Be mindful of the hotel’s budget when developing and executing marketing activations and events.
Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to ensure they meet property financial goals.
Participate in the preparation and planning of the departmental marketing communications budget and annual goals.
Assist in controlling departmental costs on an ongoing basis without sacrificing the quality of the hotel’s visual identity and brand standards.
Provide strategic input for the annual marketing plan to drive rooms and F&B revenue.
Responsible Business
Ensure all marketing platforms are maintained with updated information and high-quality photography, including local directories and brand collateral.
Recommend and implement promotional opportunities across offline channels, lifestyle magazines, and wedding reference platforms.
Initiate opportunities for IHG One Rewards to further enhance hotel loyalty business.
Create and implement marketing campaigns that reflect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
Accountability
Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality creative work on a consistent basis.
Be proactive in identifying and solving brand-related or communication challenges.
Provide comprehensive support for PR-related assignments, media relations, and event hosting for the Director of Marketing & Communications.
What we need from you?
Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel marketing setting with direct supervisory experience. Must speak the local language; other languages are preferred.
Strong understanding of brand management, social media strategy, and public relations principles.
Proficiency in managing professional photo/video shoots and working with creative design tools.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work as a team player.
