Reports directly and communicates with the Rooms Division Manager & Assistant Front Office Manager on all pertinent matters affecting guest service and hotel operations. Provides functional assistance and direction to all departments.  Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other hotel departments as required. Reacts to situations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the hotel. Responds to guest needs and resolves related problems. Supports and assists Front Office personnel and all departments at all times. Analyses the rate variance report to ensure room revenue control.

Revenue Auditing: Review daily revenue reports (e.g., Night Auditor logbook, F&B outlets) to ensure accurate postings, proper authorization, and compliance with policies. Financial Documentation: Check for proper authorization of vouchers, voids, and discounts. Cash and Ledger Control: Audit daily cash summaries, reconcile credit card transactions, and manage city ledger transfers. Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily/monthly revenue reports and reconcile with the general ledger. Investigation: Investigate, document, and report any revenue discrepancies, shortages, or overages. Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to internal controls and perform surprise cash counts of cashier floats.

Supervision of the Front Office/Hotel staff and control of hotel’s activities in accordance with Dorsett Regency polices and procedures, in the absence of the Front Office Manager. Direct supervision of Front Office staff in the absence of the Front Office Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager as well as attending to situations and requests as required by any Department Head or Supervisor. Mandarin speakers will be added advantage.
