1.0               Job Summary

A Graphic Designer creates visual content to communicate messages. They use typography, imagery, color, and layout techniques to produce designs for various media such as websites, advertisements, magazines, posters, social media, and corporate identity materials. The role requires a mix of creative and technical skills to bring concepts to life and ensure they align with brand guidelines.

2.0               Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualization and Design:

    • Develop creative concepts and designs for various projects, including digital and print media.
    • Collaborate with guests or internal teams to understand project scope and objectives.
  • Branding and Identity:

    • Create and maintain brand identities, including logos, color schemes, and style guides.
    • Ensure consistency across all design projects with the company’s brand guidelines.
  • Digital Media:

    • Design graphics for websites, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
    • Optimize graphics for web performance.
  • Print Media:

    • Design layouts for brochures, magazines, flyers, posters, and other printed materials.
    • Prepare files for print production, including working with printers to ensure quality output.
  • Software Proficiency:

    • Utilize graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create high-quality designs.
    • Stay updated with new design tools and technologies.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budgets.
    • Communicate with guests or stakeholders to provide updates and incorporate feedback.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Marketing Team, Information Technology, and Creative Team to produce cohesive designs.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Research and Trends:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, design techniques, and new technologies.
    • Apply this knowledge to improve and innovate design work.

3.0               Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong understanding of design principles. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Experience with motion graphics and video editing software
