1.0               Job Summary

The Butler is responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized service to guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, memorable, and exceeds expectations. This role involves anticipating guests' needs, providing concierge services, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

2.0               Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Welcome and Orientation:

    • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, personalized welcome.
    • Escort guests to their rooms, assist with luggage, and provide an overview of room amenities and resort facilities.
  • Personalized Service:

    • Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, preferences, and requests promptly.
    • Provide personalized recommendations for dining, activities, and local attractions.
    • Handle special requests, such as arranging for in-room dining, spa appointments, and transportation.
  • Room Preparation and Maintenance:

    • Ensure guest rooms are impeccably prepared and maintained, with attention to detail in cleanliness and presentation.
    • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address any issues or special requirements.
  • Concierge Services:

    • Assist guests with booking reservations, arranging activities, and providing information about the resort and surrounding area.
    • Handle ticketing, restaurant bookings, and other guest requests efficiently.
  • In-Room Dining and Beverage Service:

    • Serve in-room meals and beverages, ensuring a high level of presentation and service.
    • Maintain knowledge of the resort’s food and beverage offerings and provide recommendations.
  • Guest Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests to ensure repeat business and positive reviews.
    • Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Event and Special Occasion Coordination:

    • Assist with the planning and execution of special events, celebrations, and private functions.
    • Provide personalized touches for special occasions, such as anniversaries, birthdays, and honeymoons.

3.0               Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related field education is a plus. Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort, preferably in a butler or guest services role. Experience in high-end customer service environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
