Duty Manager is responsible for the supervision of the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Front Desk and ensures that all hotel guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times.

  • Checks on registration cards of arriving guests and ensures all information are properly filled at e-registration system.
  • Handles guest complaints and other related problems and maintain proper record in the system.  
  • Attend to guests inquires, handles complaints and attend to the needs of the guests.
  • Customer service and guest satisfaction focus
  • Maintains and be guided of hotel policy on credit/lost and found hotel guests properties.
  • Makes daily round of hotel, check rooms/suites and building surrounding and highlight any defects.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decision in a fast-past environment.
  • Follow-up in credit check report, work closely with credit manager.
  • Responsible for supervising, managing, training and coordinate junior associates/trainees.
  • Conducts and ensures the neat of appearance of front office attendant as well as correct attitude and behaviour, discusses problems that encountered on this point with the Front Office Manager and Shift leaders.
  • Assigns and prepare duty roster, all leave records for junior associates.
  • Maintains a strong working relationship and working closely with all departments to support each other.
  • Perform all other duties than the above requested by the Hotel's Management, the Company and / or his/her direct Superior.
