Quality & Shariah Compliance Executive 

Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre (PKLCC), owned by Permodalan Nasional Berhad and managed by Attana Hotels & Resorts Sdn. Bhd., is currently looking for dynamic and energetic individuals for the following position:

Quality & Shariah Compliance Executive

• Monitor and ensure all hotel operations, including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Finance and other department, comply with established Shariah principles and halal standards.
• Implement and maintain hotel quality standards, service excellence frameworks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance guest satisfaction and brand consistency.
• Perform regular internal audits and inspections on operational processes, hygiene, service delivery and Shariah compliance practices, identifying gap and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all food and beverage offerings meet halal certification requirements, including sourcing, storage, preparation and handling processes in accordance with regulatory bodies.
• Develop, review and update policies, SOPs and guidelines to align with both quality assurance standards and Shariah compliance requirements.
•  Conduct training session and awareness programs for staff on service quality, compliance standard and Shariah principles to ensure consistent understanding and application.
•  Identify, investigate and address non-compliance issues, implementing corrective and preventive action to mitigate risks and ensure continuous improvement.
•  Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, certifications, compliance reports and corrective actions for internal tracking and external audits.
• Stay updated with local regulations, halal certification requirements, hospitality industry standard and Shariah developments to ensure the hotel remains compliant and competitive.
• Ensure that all compliance and quality initiatives support a positive, culturally appropriate, and Shariah-compliant guest experience and work closely with all departments to embed a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• To maintain up to date QMS documentations and acting as Deputy Quality Management Representative.
• To ensure full cooperation given before, during and after IQA, SIRIM, etc. audit held once yearly.
• To conduct a periodical meeting including management review meeting, halal committee meeting and shariah AHR committee meeting in yearly basis.
• To organize shariah activities related to “Islamic Shared Value”.
• To perform any other duties or assignments as and when directed by the management.
