Front Office Crew – Concierge

• Welcoming , greeting and assisting guest during arrival (check-in) and departure (check-out).
• Handle guests’ requests, enquiries and complaints.
• Handle guest luggage start from arrival till departure (deliver to room, pick-up luggage and storage).
• Provide information on Penang, hotel facilities, memorabilia and hotel events & promotions.
• Provide Valet Parking Service and manage VIP parking lot.
• Conduct room tour to all guest during deliver luggage to guest room (rooming).
• Maintain cleanliness in your work area, and manage stock of supplies in your work area.
• Consider “Save the Planet” initiatives in your everyday duties.
• Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge including but not limited to hotel and café memorabilia, operation hours, promotions, etc.
• Assisting guests for transportation booking from Hotel Tour Operator or Meter Taxi.
• Operate tele-communication PABX system to answer internal and external calls.
• Provide amplified service to all guests.
• Escort guests to their rooms & assist with the luggage services.
• Escort guest to Rock Royalty Lounge and assist with the luggage service.
• Provide Business Centre services for guests such as but not limited to send/receive emails, faxes, parcels, photocopying, DVD/Games/Books loans.
• Be an active member during organized philanthropic events.

Requirements

• Positive phone demeanor and superior written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have a service oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued.
• Knowledge of basic office equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, etc.
• Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possess a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.
• Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
• Possess a valid driving license.
• This position is restricted to individuals with the rights to work in Malaysia.
