Job Description

As the Graphic Designer, you will play a vital role in promoting the hotel and its brand to potential and existing guests. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, and have a strong understanding of the hotel industry. You will also be responsible for helping to create a positive and welcoming guest experience. You will do this by designing and producing high-quality marketing and communications materials that highlight the hotel's amenities and services.

Your day-to-day: 

People   

  • Collaborate with other members of the marketing & communications team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote the hotel’s culture and values.  

  • Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment for other members of the team. 

  • Be a role model for other team members by demonstrating professionalism, integrity and commitment to excellence.  

Guest Experience  

  • Create and maintain a visually appealing and welcoming hotel environment. 

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications materials that highlight the hotel’s amenities and service.  

  • Capture and share positive guest feedback on the hotel’s social media channels and website.  

 

Financial  

  • Be mindful of the hotel’s budget when developing and implementing marketing & communications campaigns.  

  • Track and report on the results of marketing campaigns to ensure that they are meeting their financial goals. 

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing the quality of the hotel’s marketing and communications efforts.  

  •  

Responsible Business  

  • Create and maintain marketing and communications materials that reflect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. 

  • Promote the hotel’s responsible business practices to guests and other stakeholders.  

  • Identify and implement opportunities for the hotel to reduce its environmental impact and give back to the community. 

Accountability    

  • To assume and maintain guardianship of the IHG graphics standards manual, ensuring that all suppliers and partners adhere to these standards and procedures outlined in this manual.   

  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on a consistent basis. 

  • Be proactive in identifying and solving problems. 

  • Completing tasks as assigned by the Marketing & Communications head   

What we need from you? 

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in graphic design specialization or related field 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel marketing setting with direct supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.   

  • Experience with photography, videography and video editing.  

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Affects) and other relevant software.
