As IT Executive, you’ll assist IT Manager to ensure our computers are installed properly, working efficiently and that system security measures are in place. You’ll also assist to install new systems as required to improve hotel’s efficiency, always follow standards and guidelines and make sure hotel teams have the tools and resources they need to work well.
Your day-to-day:
People
Perform daily system backup check, system logs audit, support request logs well documented
Maintain and troubleshoot hotel ICT (Information Communication and Telecommunication) both hardware and software (PMS, POS, Hotel Operations Systems, Call Billing, PABX, Hotel Infrastructure (Guest and BOH) etc).
Maintain the documentation of all ICT related hardware configuration and inventory
Understand all the department workflow and assist as required and instructed by IT Manager
Maintain all users access request and authorizations (Windows, E-mail, Opera, Micros, other hotel software)
Ensure that IT P&P is enforced and adhered
Assist with annual audit on documentation preparation as requested by IT Manager
Guest Experience
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Address guests’ service needs; assist other employees. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
As per IT Manager’s guidance, sustain excellent relationship with vendors and interact positively to ensure that they meet or exceed contractual commitment, obtain quality service, support and pricing of technology projects and procurement
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals
Financial
Ensure adherence to quality expectations/standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
Responsible Business
Provide support, respond to problems, keep colleagues informed with the status of issues and ensure solutions are consistent with the business needs and IHG policies
Consistently provide quick resolutions, identify, analyse, solve issues creatively, effectively and quickly in consistent with the IHG policies
Monitor hotel technology (computer and Network) operation proactively to ensure minimal interruptions
Enforce IHG technology policies and standards
Maintain an accurate asset management of hardware and software
Accountability
This is a mid-level role assignment in the IT function for a full-service hotel. Typically coordinate with staff of professional and/or IT/System support positions
Perform other duties as assigned by IT Manager
What we need from you?
Preferably a diploma holder/ Graduate in Computer Science with basic knowledge of IT procedures
Minimum experience of 2-3 years in the same field
Good communication and people skills and works as a teamwork player
Understanding of relevant legal standards
