Checks daily Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue reports along with supporting documents from the Night Audit. Reviews revenue from other departments such as Laundry and Business Centre for completeness. Compares the daily General Cashier’s report with recorded cash movements. Oversees all financial operations, including daily accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (P&L) to ensure profitability. Key duties include managing AP/AR, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading the finance team, and analyzing cost controls to drive revenue management.

Supports the Finance Manager/Director by overseeing daily financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and income auditing. They ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with hotel policies (SOPs), assist with annual audits, and monitor departmental budgets to ensure efficiency.

·       Type and send out correspondences assigned as well as prepare meeting minutes and memos. ·       To trace all correspondences that required feedback and take appropriate actions. ·       Follow-up on insurance claims from the respective department and maintain and update every              month. ·       Follow-up on hotel licenses from MBPP, Bank Negara, Road Tax, and Insurance of the company              car and relevant Ministries; as and when necessary. ·       Update on the legal cases in the WM System as and when necessary as requested by the Director of Finance. ·       Review all maintenance contracts on a timely basis and make a comparison with the previous year.
