Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, and competitor analysis.
  • Utilize revenue management software to forecast occupancy and adjust pricing accordingly.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Optimize room rates and packages to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor pricing, and demand fluctuations.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts and financial reports to support budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Manage room inventory across various distribution channels, including OTAs, direct bookings, and travel agencies.
  • Ensure rate parity across all booking platforms to maintain consistency.
  • Work closely with the reservations team to prevent overbooking or underutilization of rooms.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotions and packages.
  • Generate detailed reports on revenue performance and suggest improvements.
  • Implement strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong proficiency in revenue management software.
  • Ability to interpret financial reports and market data.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue management within the hotel industry.
  • Familiarity with global distribution systems (GDS) and online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Understanding of hotel operations, sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Revenue Management (e.g., CHRM - Certified Hospitality Revenue Manager) are a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to market changes.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
