Job Description

1. To ensure smooth coordination between Sales Department, Front Office, Reservations Department, Food & Beverage Department, and Credit Manager.

2. To maintain the booking status on the Banquet Book and stay close in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage.

3. Keep track of confirmed, tentative & lost bookings, where the function rooms are concerned.

4. Prepare weekly statements on booking status, to enable sales staff to give immediate confirmation.

5. Leads from Sales Banquet Department or any other source must be investigated and obtain clients' requirements as detailed as possible and ensure information is passed down to superior/s.

6. To follow up on all social functions, and other tentative banquet inquiries, converting these leads to positive commitments where possible.

7.  Meet with the organizers of functions to discuss the final details for billing purposes.

8. To meet with potential clients on possible functions,  and hand over quotation demands to the Sales Manager for follow-up purposes.

9. Work closely with team members to ensure that the agreements etc are properly issued and signed by the client.

10. To control Internal Breakdowns of packages issuing and their distribution to concerned parties, to ensure that all aspects of the forthcoming function are handled in a professional manner.
