Job Summary The Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the hotel's engineering systems and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and staff. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures. Operational Supervision Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff. Assign duties and schedules to room attendants and public area cleaners. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.
