Assist Sous Chef in supervising all kitchen subsections engaged in the preparation and cooking of food. Checks function sheets and sees to it that all food are prepared on time and meet quality standard. Supervises cooking and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignment. Estimates current and daily requirements of kitchen for food consumption based on daily activity. Checks physical aspect of all kitchen areas, coldrooms, equipments and tools. Perform duties of Sous Chef in his absence. Perform duties common to all supervisors and other duties as may be assigned.

Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station. Following directions provided by the head chef. Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service. Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary. Stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station. Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback. Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.

a)      Duties:   -          Wears issued uniform and name badge whenever on duty, from “clock-in" to "clock out”. -          Maintains proper grooming and hygiene habits as defined in the “personal hygiene” section of the Food and Beverage Manual. -          Maintains issued uniform including name badge in good, clean condition, without tears or stains. -          Complies with the hotel’s house rules and conduct codes as stated in the employee handbook and as distributed at orientation. -          Be able to describe the tasks that you are to perform in an emergency as outlined in the hotel’s loss-prevention procedures manual....
