The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions. Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates. To implement and execute the security management plan at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (“the Centre”) to safe-guard the physical well-being of its property, employees, and guest, achieving satisfaction for all concerned while adhering to standards requirements of the Centre. Security Officer reports to Security Supervisors and is responsible for ensuring the implementation of security operations in the Centre. 1.     Participates in the following: a.   Security services including patrolling and roaming, static, loading dock and traffic management, etc. b.   Investigation on security-related incidents on all departments.   c.   Co-ordination of security surveillance arrangement, door accessibility and other security functions as and when necessary. d.   Provision of security administrative tasks e.g. overtime and deployment records, etc. e.    Provision of appropriate response to emergency situations as and when necessary
