Intern Housekeeping Deparment

Job Description

o    Ensures all guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately adhering to the hotel’s general guidelines for service recovery.

o    Ensures all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.

o    Follows up on work and maintains logbook.

o    Knows and strictly follows all established cleaning procedures.

o    Prepares Room/Public Area crew work assignment sheet.

o    Reports Monthly Chemical consumption, Monthly Guest Supplies and Amenities usage.

o    Knows how to operate/use available Housekeeping machinery’s and chemicals according to established standards.

o    Ensures all Front of House and Back of House areas are well maintained, clean and tidy at all times.

o    Conducts Quality Room/Public Areas Inspections.

o    Maintains proper par stock of inventory items.

o    Reports all maintenance deficiencies immediately.

o    Assist in other sections of Housekeeping department as and went required based on business needs.
