Assistant Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all facilities within a resort. This position assists the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all areas of the resort are well-maintained, safe, and meet high-quality standards.
1. Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the daily activities of the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner.
2. Manages the overall maintenance function of the property, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and standards
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the resort's facilities, including guest rooms and public areas.
4. Coordinate and perform repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks to address any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently. This includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other related tasks.
5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, and standards related to maintenance operations. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
6. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring they adhere to resort policies and standards. Coordinate and oversee their work to ensure quality and timely completion.
· Bachelor's degree in Maintenance operations, professional certification or a related field (preferred).
· Proven experience in Maintenance field preferably with the hospitality industry
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
