Manager/Assistant Human Resources Manager

• Assist in managing daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, attendance, leave administration, and employee records.

• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and domestic inquiry procedures.

• Ensure compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and other relevant statutory requirements.

• Coordinate training and development programmes, including HRD Corp claims and training records.

• Manage foreign employee and trainee documentation, including immigration-related matters and permit renewals.

• Support performance management, staff welfare, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.

• Oversee staff accommodation, hostel administration, and employee welfare matters.

• Prepare HR reports, manpower planning, and departmental updates for management.

• Liaise with government agencies such as JTK, KWSP, PERKESO, Immigration, and other relevant authorities.

• Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.

• Provide HR guidance and support to Heads of Departments on employee-related matters

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or Assistant HR Manager role will be an added advantage.

• Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.

• Hands-on experience in payroll administration, recruitment, employee relations, and disciplinary procedures.

• Familiarity with HRMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Able to work independently, multitask, and manage confidential information professionally.

• Willing to be based in Desaru, Johor.
