SALES EXECUTIVE

RM2,300 - RM4,000 monthly

Job Description

  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue and business targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities from corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, government agencies, and other market segments.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and business partners.
  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, site inspections, and business meetings to promote the resort's products and services.
  • Promote hotel rooms, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, packages, events, and other resort facilities to potential and existing clients.
  • Handle enquiries, prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and follow up with clients to secure bookings and business opportunities.
  • Manage and coordinate group bookings, corporate events, meetings, conferences, weddings, and other functions.
  • Work closely with Reservations, Front Office, F&B, Banquet, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure clients' requirements are properly communicated and fulfilled.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales leads, enquiries, tentative bookings, and confirmed business.
  • Maintain accurate records of client information, sales activities, business opportunities, and account status.
  • Achieve assigned individual and departmental sales targets and contribute to overall hotel revenue growth.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, revenue updates, sales forecasts, and other management reports.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities, pricing, packages, and promotions.
  • Participate in trade shows, roadshows, exhibitions, sales missions, networking events, and promotional activities to increase hotel visibility.
  • Promote seasonal packages, special promotions, festive programmes, and resort activities to targeted markets.
  • Assist with corporate account management, including regular follow-ups, account servicing, and business development.
  • Handle client feedback and complaints professionally and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with the hotel's policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Support the Sales Manager and Director of Sales in achieving departmental objectives and revenue targets.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Sales Manager/Consultant or Management.
