F&B OPERATIVE (ROOM SERVICE)

Job Description

- Deliver food and drinks to guest rooms on time and make sure every order is correct.
- Set up food trays or tables in guest rooms with the correct cutlery, plates, glasses, condiments, and serving items.
- Collect used trays, plates, cups, glasses, and utensils from guest rooms after guests have finished their meals.
- Work closely with the kitchen, stewarding, and other department members to provide good and timely room service.
- Check that there are enough supplies and equipment, such as trays, cutlery, napkins, and menus, before service begins.
- Respond politely to guest requests and help with special requests whenever possible.
- Prepare guest bills and process payments according to hotel procedures.
- Keep yourself clean and neat, wear the correct uniform, and follow food safety and hygiene rules.
- Know how to use the Micros POS system to take orders and process payments.
