F&B OPERATIVE (WAITER/WAITRESS)

Job Description

- Take food and drink orders from guests and suggest menu items when needed.
- Clear used plates, cups, and utensils from tables and set up tables again for the next guests.
- Help set up buffet stations and place the correct serving utensils for each food item.
- Work well with other team members to provide good service and make guests happy.
- Prepare and check that there are enough supplies and equipment in the service area before operations begin.
- Take reservations, welcome guests, show them to their tables, give menus, take orders, and help guests when needed.
- Prepare guest bills and process payments according to hotel procedures.
- Keep yourself clean and neat, wear the correct uniform, and follow food safety rules.
- Know how to use the Micros POS system for taking orders and processing bills.
- Understand all food and drink items on the menu and recommend suitable choices or combinations to guests.
