Job Description

We are seeking a competent and experienced Security Manager to oversee all security operations within our hotel. The role is critical in safeguarding guests, staff, and property, while maintaining a welcoming and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with hotel standards and legal requirements.
  • Manage and supervise security staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety across hotel premises.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans for fire, medical incidents, theft, or other crises.
  • Collaborate with hotel management and local authorities to address security concerns and incidents.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize threats.
  • Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities.
  • Oversee access control systems to regulate entry into restricted areas.
  • Plan and manage security operations for special events hosted at the hotel.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in security management, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, emergency response, and surveillance systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to safety and security.
