WAITER/WAITRESS (CHINESE RESTAURANT)

Job Description

- Can communicate in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin.
- Take food and beverage orders, and recommend suitable menu items to guests in outlets and function rooms.
- Clear tables and reset them according to the meal period standards.
- Set up buffet stations, placing the correct utensils based on the food items displayed.
- Work closely with team members in a supportive and flexible way to ensure guest satisfaction and overall hotel success.
- Prepare and ensure enough guest supplies and equipment are ready for operations in the assigned service area.
- Handle reservations, welcome and seat guests, present menus, take orders, and assist guests when needed.
- Prepare, present, and process guest bills according to hotel policies.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, food safety, and proper uniform appearance.
- Be familiar with and able to use the Micros system efficiently.
- Have good knowledge of all menu items and be able to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives.
