The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. This includes monitoring premises, enforcing company policies, and responding to security incidents in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions.
Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
Verify identification and issue visitor passes.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports.
Conduct routine inspections of security systems and safety equipment.
Assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuation and first aid if required.
Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role (preferred).
Good communication and observation skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
Physically fit and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
No criminal record.
Basic knowledge of security systems (CCTV, alarm systems).
First Aid and CPR certification (advantage).
Strong integrity and sense of responsibility.
