Job Description

Operational Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.

  • Assign duties and schedules to room attendants and public area cleaners.

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.

  • Ensure timely room readiness in coordination with the Front Office.

Quality & Guest Experience

  • Maintain the hotel’s luxury standards of cleanliness and ambiance.

  • Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure lost-and-found procedures are followed accurately.

Staff Management & Training

  • Train new housekeeping associates on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and hotel policies.

  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and motivation.

  • Assist in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when required.

Inventory & Supplies

  • Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment.

  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and tools.

  • Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the Engineering department.
