1. Supervises and coordinates the activity of pastry kitchen personnel in preparation of all dough, moulding and baking of breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, pies, desserts and decorating and apportioning of desserts in serving dishes 2. Checks daily menus and function sheets to determine kind snd quality of pastries and desserts to prepare, initiates requisitions based on planned desserts and functions 3. Plan production in order to have bread, cakes, pastries, etc freshly baked when needed 4. Prepares decorative center pieces 5. Assist Sous Chef in supervising all kitchen subsections engaged in the preparation and cooking of food. Checks function sheets and sees to it that all food are prepared on time and meet quality standard. Supervises cooking and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignment. Estimates current and daily requirements of kitchen for food consumption based on daily activity. Checks physical aspect of all kitchen areas, coldrooms, equipments and tools. Perform duties of Sous Chef in his absence. Perform duties common to all supervisors and other duties as may be assigned.

Strictly adheres to the par stocks for all operating equipment, supplies, inventoried items, and to ensure that the outlet is adequately equipped. Ensures to provide exceptional guest service at all times. Provide excellent service to internal customer in other departments as appropriate. Handles all guests and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily. Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships. Establishes rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships

Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards. Replace bed linens, towels, and guest supplies daily. Check and restock room amenities such as toiletries, coffee, and water bottles. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor. Ensure all assigned rooms and corridors are clean, safe, and well-presented. Assist in cleaning public areas when required. Handle guest requests politely and promptly. Follow safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
