Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to standard recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs
Ensure all ingredients are prepared, measured, and ready for service (mise en place)
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures at all times
Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef in daily kitchen operations
Cook and present dishes according to established standards and guidelines
Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients
Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of any shortages
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor
