Job Purpose
To maintain full responsibility for the issuance, maintenance and control of bedlinens, F&B Linen and uniforms.
Duties and responsibilities
To report for work in full uniform at least fifteen minutes before start of shift.
To maintain responsibility for the secure storage of all linen and uniform in the linen room.
To sort out and count items coming from the linen chute before sending them to the laundry.
To send all clean linen to the maid’s pantry according to par stock.
To control the issuing and exchange of uniforms, F&B linen and bed linen.
To ensure that the items from laundry are arranged neatly and properly on the shelves in the pantry and linen room.
To check all soiled linen for any stain marks and separate them.
Torn and damaged uniforms should be separated upon receiving before sending for repairs. If not possible to repair, report the item to the Executive Housekeeper so that appropriate action can be taken...
