Key Responsibilities and Duties Boiler Operation and Monitoring: Operating and monitoring high-pressure steam boilers, including performing routine start-up, shutdown, and blowdown procedures. Continuously monitoring gauges, meters, and control systems to ensure correct pressure, temperature, water, and fuel levels. Adjusting controls and valves to maintain optimal performance and meet production demand. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conducting daily checks, inspections, and regular preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, replacing worn parts) on boiler systems and auxiliary equipment (e.g., cooling towers, compressors, pumps). Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults or breakdowns in boiler operations and performing first-level repairs. Coordinating with maintenance teams for major repairs and improvements.
