Housekeeping Linen Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented Linen Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. The successful candidate will assist in the daily handling, distribution, collection, and storage of hotel linen to ensure sufficient clean linen is available for smooth hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, count, and distribute clean and used linen according to hotel procedures.

• Ensure clean linen is properly stored, organised, and maintained in good condition.

• Deliver linen to designated floors and departments as required.

• Monitor linen stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Assist with linen inventory and regular stocktaking.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the linen room and storage areas.

• Separate damaged, stained, or unusable linen for appropriate handling.

• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and standard operating procedures.

• Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Laundry teams to ensure timely linen supply.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping management team.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior experience required.

• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Able to handle linen collection, sorting, counting, storage, and distribution.

• Able to maintain cleanliness, proper storage, and organization of linen areas.

• Physically fit and able to handle routine tasks involving standing, lifting, and carrying linen.

• Good teamwork and time management skills.

• Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Malaysian citizens only.
