Engineering Technician

• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
• Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing of knowledge and skills

Financial

• Analyses and monitors energy costs and expenditures for the department.
• Work within expense limits established
• Monitor efficiency of equipment and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, guest entrance/access doors, television sets, lighting systems and make minor repairs and/or replacements to ensure things are working properly and efficiently at all times.

Guest Experience

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions and/or requests to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsible Business

• Maintains the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the minimization wastage of electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC , AC ducts.

Accountability

• To be able to work in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organized. Ability to multi-task in busy environment and adheres to hotel the Standard Operating Procedures.

What we need from you

• ITI certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
