Security Officer

RM1,700 - RM2,500 monthly

Job Description

  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the resort premises, including guest areas, staff areas, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding facilities.
  • Monitor and control access to the resort to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, and company property.
  • Verify staff, contractor, supplier, and visitor access in accordance with resort procedures.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, security systems, fire alarm panels, and other security equipment.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, accidents, disturbances, and suspicious activities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate security incident reports, daily occurrence books, patrol records, and other required documentation.
  • Assist in controlling traffic flow and managing vehicle movement within the resort premises.
  • Monitor and control the movement of company assets, equipment, goods, and materials entering or leaving the resort.
  • Conduct checks at staff entrances, loading areas, service entrances, and other designated security points.
  • Assist in handling lost and found items and ensure proper recording and handover procedures are followed.
  • Ensure resort security rules, staff regulations, and safety procedures are followed by employees, guests, contractors, and visitors.
  • Assist with crowd control and security arrangements during events, functions, VIP visits, and high-occupancy periods.
  • Respond to fire alarms and other emergency situations and assist with evacuation procedures when required.
  • Work closely with the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Engineering, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments during emergencies or incidents.
  • Assist in investigating security incidents and provide relevant information and reports to the Security Supervisor or Management.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information, staff matters, security procedures, and resort operations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, good discipline, alertness, and courteous conduct when dealing with guests and employees.
  • Ensure all security posts, equipment, keys, radios, and other assigned items are properly maintained and handed over between shifts.
  • Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the Security Supervisor, Security Manager, or Management.
