Job Description

  • Follow up on all administrative matters related to the Kitchen department.
  • Record and monitor attendance of all Kitchen staff.
  • Control, issue, collect, and maintain records of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and key movements.
  • Record and properly store all kitchen-related lost and found items.
  • Assist in recording daily food preparation, wastage, and requisition details.
  • Update and track the status of kitchen maintenance and repair requests.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of office and kitchen administrative supplies.
  • Handle internal requests from service staff and respond promptly; record and follow up on kitchen-related inquiries or issues.
  • Perform general Kitchen administrative tasks, including documentation, photocopying, and preparing duty rosters; ensure all staff records are kept up to date.
  • File all kitchen correspondence, purchase orders, and store requisitions properly.
  • Update inventory and stock control records for food and non-food items.
  • Record all equipment breakdowns and liaise with Engineering or Maintenance for prompt action.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen office and storage areas at all times.
  • Record any special kitchen instructions or menu changes in the Communication Log Book.
  • Assist in coordinating with other departments for banquets, events, and special functions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure all daily tasks and assignments are completed before the end of the shift.
