PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT

RM1,700 - RM2,200 monthly

Job Description

• Provide excellent service to all guests at all times.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and appearance, and wear the proper uniform or protective equipment.
• Work well with other departments and maintain good relationships with colleagues.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the hotel or department.
• Follow procedures for the safety of keys, company property, and personal belongings. Report any suspicious activities or individuals immediately.
• Follow all health and safety rules, including fire safety, proper lifting, handling chemicals, waste disposal, and reporting accidents.
• Be punctual and make sure to sign in when arriving and sign out when leaving work.
• Ensure all brass items (such as staircase handrails, door plates, lifts, and ashtrays) are clean and well maintained.
• Check and clean all equipment used for work.
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors regularly.
• Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo carpets as needed.
• Ensure carpets are clean and free from stains.
• Vacuum wall coverings and chairs.
• Clean furniture, fixtures, glass, and mirrors.
• Remove dust from ceilings, lights, and air-conditioning vents.
• Polish brass and stainless steel surfaces.
• Keep all public areas and back-of-house areas clean.
• Refill toiletries when needed.
• Report any lost or damaged items.
• Report any repair or maintenance issues.
• Clean both guest and staff toilets (Ladies and Gents).
• Keep all storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
