Job Description

1. Supervises and coordinates the activity of pastry kitchen personnel in preparation of all dough, moulding and baking of breads, rolls, cakes, pastries, pies, desserts and decorating and apportioning of desserts in serving dishes

2. Checks daily menus and function sheets to determine kind snd quality of pastries and desserts to prepare, initiates requisitions based on planned desserts and functions

3. Plan production in order to have bread, cakes, pastries, etc freshly baked when needed

4. Prepares decorative center pieces

5. Sees to it that kitchen equipments and utensils are handled and used properly and ensures cleanliness and maintain work area
