1.0 Job Summary
To ensure maximum care of all guest laundry, linens, uniforms.
2.0 Duties and Responsibilities
1. To ensure proper issuance (correct counting) of linen when requested by Food & Beverage department.
2. Issue the right uniform to the respective staff. Checks all uniforms return from / to laundry.
3. Sent out linens and uniforms to laundry with correct counting, mend torn ones, discard condemned ones and tag all uniform accordingly. Assist seamstress in mending. Replace button and sew loose hemline. Uniforms must be arranged accordingly and neatly for easy distribution.
4. Assist inventory taking every month end of the month.
5. Provides pressing service whenever required and attend to all guest requested.
6. Relief and assist room attendant on floor whenever required.
7. Keep linen room clean and tidy, mops floor and wipe shelves.
8. Ensure all linen returning from laundry is neatly stacked and hang up.
9. Ensure all linen from room is accurately counted and recorded.
10. Mends and repairs all room & F & B linen.
11. Follow up on all messages written in the log book.
12. File all report accordingly.
13. Liaise with the Outside laundry closely on matters pertaining to laundry, report to Supervisor on any discrepancy the same day.
14. Maintain a friendly, pleasant, and neat image at all times.
15. To inform the Supervisor of jobs that is unable to accomplish.
16. Carry out any other relevant duties that may be assigned by Superior.

4.1 To attend any related trainings.
5.0 Other Assignments
To carry out any other duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper from time to time.
