In 2021 and 2022, Reliance College won the BrandLaureate Best Brand in Education for Hospitality award.
This award pays tribute to Reliance College’s track record for being the best specialist education provider in Hospitality and Tourism. In competitions organised by the Malaysian Association of Hotels, Reliance students has done the college proud by winning the following awards:
- 2018 MONIN Cup Student Competition (Cocktail & Mocktail): Semi-Finalist
- 2017 5th Ipoh International Waiters Race Competition: Finalist
- 2016 4th Ipoh International Waiters Race Competition: 1st Runner-up: Female Category (Sportive Tray)
- 2015 3rd Ipoh International Waiters Race Competition: 1st Runner-up: Male Category (Sportive Tray)

This means that 90% of Reliance students have internships with top brands like Four Seasons, The St. Regis, The Westin, Shangri-La, Hilton, Roystar Travel & Tours, Mayflower Holidays, Apple Vacations, PICO Events & Entertainment and Bravo Events & Entertainment.
Over the years, students have not only had internships locally, but in leading tourist destinations like Phuket, Bangkok and Singapore.

This exclusive internship programme provides 100% placement assistance, including monthly allowance, overtime pay (in Singaporean dollars), free accommodation and with free meals while on duty!
