Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To responsible for all cleanliness of all guest rooms, corridors, lift landing and staircase
  • Ensure all rooms are to be cleaned according to The Face Suites standards and supply them with sufficient amenities.
  • Complete all rooms assign for the day before end of shift and report to supervisor if any rooms not accomplish.
  • To carry out periodic cleaning projects and spring cleaning in the guest rooms and floor as on a timely basis.
  • To assist and coordinate with Room Supervisor on monthly inventories of linen, chemicals, guest amenities and supplies.
  • To be competent in room cleaning, taking into consideration “attend to details”.
  • Ensure corridors are kept clean and room service trays are removed to the service areas immediately.
  • Attend to guest complaint promptly and efficiently, understand guest needs and feedback to them within professional manner.
  • To carry out periodic cleaning projects and spring cleaning in the guest rooms and floors as on a timely basis.
  • To constantly strive to exceed customer satisfaction and experience in the hotel. 
  • To replenish maid trolley with linen, amenities and guest supplies at the end of shift for next day.
  • To be aware of issues in relation to control of substances hazardous to Health (OSHA).
  • To undertake any other assignment as assigned from time to time by the Supervisors, Assistant Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper.

 

 

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·         The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

·         The highly skilled in cleaning rooms and other interior and outside areas.

·         Ability to work independently and under pressure.

·         Eye for detail and high standard for cleanliness.

·         Must be able to prioritize work, maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively.

·         Able to works on shifts, long hours, weekends and public holiday.

·         Ability to follow directions, perform tasks with attention to detail, speed accuracy and follow – through.

·         Well verse of using the cleaning equipment

·         Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

·         A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service.

 

 

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education

·         Candidates must possess a minimum SPM.

·         Able to converse in simple English.

·         Pleasant, courteous and friendly personality.

 

 

Experience

·         Fresh graduate are encourage to apply. Candidate with previous hotel experience is preferable.
