Job Description

The Director of Marketing Communications has primary responsibility of supporting the Sales & Marketing department to achieve top line objectives and goals. Overall deliverable is maximization of revenue opportunities through specific marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategise and implementing plans to increase market share through both traditional and new media in line with corporate marketing guidelines to create awareness for Angsana Teluk Bahang.
  • Conducts market research and evaluates innovative marketing opportunities for the property.
  • Ensures consistent marketing message is communicated in all advertising and collateral efforts.
  • Use of new medias (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and other platforms) along with technological advancement to market, update, and manages hotel’s presence in all web sites and social media platforms.
  • Respond to all online guest reviews and/or inquiries on the property on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce effective promotional materials/ collaterals in order to generate revenue from all ancillary departments based on the established financial plan.
  • Spearheads crisis communications at times of emergency.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education in related field
  • At least three years of prior experience in developing strategic communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills especially in English language
  • Excellent working knowledge of major social media channels
  • Proactive and highly organized in getting tasks completed
  • Able to be a team player
  • Independent and able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Must have the right to work in Malaysia
