Job Description

Perdana Kuala Lumpur City Centre (PKLCC), owned by Permodalan Nasional Berhad and managed by Attana Hotels & Resorts Sdn. Bhd., is currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our team and help us elevate our events business to new heights.

 

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and managing the sales of catering services for meetings, events, weddings, and other group functions. This position will work closely with clients to create memorable experiences, while ensuring exceptional service and achieving sales goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote catering services to potential clients.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding coordinators, and other local businesses to generate new leads and bookings.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring clients’ needs and expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and banquet teams to create customized menus and packages that suit clients’ preferences and budgets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and event documentation to clients.
  • Coordinate site inspections, tastings, and event details to provide clients with a seamless planning experience.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize revenue while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, tracking key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in planning and executing hotel events and marketing initiatives to raise the hotel’s profile in the local community.
  • Ensure that all event logistics, including staffing and equipment, are organized and executed flawlessly.

 

Requirements:-

•       Possess Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field

•       Minimum of 2 years catering sales, event management, or hotel sales.

•       Strong sales background with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.

•       Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

•       Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

•       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•       Knowledge of catering trends, menu planning, and event logistics.

•       A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
