Job Title: AV (Audio-Visual) Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Technician to join our team. The AV Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment for various events and activities. This includes ensuring high-quality sound and video output, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
-Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment including microphones, video recorders, projectors, sound systems, and lighting.
-System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
-Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support for events, including conferences, meetings, and live performances.
-Collaboration: Work closely with event coordinators, IT staff, and other team members to ensure seamless AV operations.
-Documentation: Maintain records of equipment usage, repairs, and inventory.
-Training: Assist in training staff on the proper use of AV equipment.
Requirements:
-Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in audio-visual technology is preferred.
-Experience: Previous experience as an AV Technician or in a related field.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating a variety of AV equipment and software, including soundboards, mixers, video cameras, and editing software.
-Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
-Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
-Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
Work Environment:
The AV Technician will work in various environments including conference rooms, auditoriums, and outdoor venues. The role may involve lifting and moving heavy equipment and standing for long periods.
