Technician

Department: Maintenance & Engineering (M&E)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Repair: Inspect, analyse, and troubleshoot systems and equipment to identify and fix issues.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
- Run Tests: Conduct tests to evaluate system performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Documentation: Write up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
- Collaboration: Work with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors, to complete projects.
- Supplier Liaison: Negotiate with suppliers and liaise with clients to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.

Requirements:

- High school diploma; a relevant degree, certification, or license may be required.
- Previous experience as a technician is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to follow health and safety regulations.
- Ability to multitask, read repair manuals, and understand verbal and written instructions.

The technician will work in a dynamic environment that may involve exposure to machinery and equipment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
