Job Description

  1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  2. Minimize wastage by careful preparation of food & beverages.
  3. Accept and carry out directions from supervisors to anticipate, meet and exceed residents’ needs.
  4. Prepare and set up all equipment for the day’s operations as specified by the shift and for any in-house activities upon residents’ request or supervisor’s instructions.
  5. Check and replenish all food & beverages stocks as per requirements.
  6. Wash and clean all equipment, utensils and crockery as and when needed.
  7. Adhere to all safety and hygiene procedures in handling all equipment, utensils and crockery and to prevent from accidents and minimize breakages.
  8. Attend all training assigned to and assist with the training of new colleagues as and when scheduled.
  9. Develop choice work environment with co-colleagues from other departments.
  10. Maintain the highest standard of personal grooming, self and food hygiene at all times
