Responsible to ensure that the Hotel brand is managed in an active way to increase the value of this asset. This will involve consistent positioning across a diverse range of product / service categories, and marketing through a wide variety of media and markets.
Responsible for press relations including preparation of annual and monthly schedules.
Create and manage a master editorial calendar, timelines, task-list and deadlines. Gather information on when the supplements in various trade magazines are scheduled, obtain this early part of the year and develop press releases to be prepared and forwarded in advance.
Compose / vet through text for collateral material to ensure relevance to the press release. Organize and attend press tours and events. This includes coordination of media familiarization trips and activities into Malaysia.
