Job Description

  • The proper recording of all sales of food and beverages by posting all checks into the point of sales system & cash register.
  • The proper account for and handling of both, the daily cash receipts as well as the assigned cash float.
  • Ascertain that all charge sales are proper and that the guest's signature is legible on checks. This inclusive of online guest check, credit cards, cash & complimentary vouchers or any other monetary voucher sold by the Hotel. 
  • Duties also include proper discount on the `Card Program'.
  • Preparation of the Daily Cashier Report.
  • Ensure all Officer Check are signed by the respective staff.
  • Ensure all Entertainment Check are signed & approved by the respective staff and Head of department.
  • To arrange cash/charge checks in numerical sequence and verify that all checks used or unused are accounted for, either cash or charge checks.
  • Ensure if there is any VOID checks to be approved by Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager with the written justification.
  • To perform daily cashier duty in accordance to the SOPs.
  • To perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by his/her immediate supervisor.

 

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in related field.
  • Possess at least SPM. 
  • Possesses integrity and maintain confidential information.
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
  • Good math skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
